Augie Stakes is a custom tattoo artist at Firme Copias, San Antonio TX. He specializes in, but is not limited to, black and grey realism and color realism.

Augie was born on the 8th of September 1980 in San Antonio TX. He was raised on West side by his mother and father and is the oldest of three siblings. He was exposed to art at an early age and was fascinated with drawing and painting real life and people just as they looked through his eyes. Starting his apprenticeship around 2004, he quickly learned the ins and outs of working in a tattoo shop, and very soon after began his career as a tattoo artist.

After working in several shops around San Antonio over the years, he finally found his home here at Firme Copias, where his everyday goal is to become better than he was the day before.
